Jim’s last Round is a 10minute 16mm black and white film. the scene takes place in a bar in the early hours of the morning between twpo customers with the barman acting as a witness. Jim, who never appears, exists only in the imagination of yhe two main protagonists. Their conflict is a dramatisation of male forms of intimidation and humiliation with the absent Jim acting as the symbol of male adhesion, togetherness and fraternity whilst simultaneoulsy serving as a tool of conflict and aggression. The final outcome of the fight is comically twisted so as to reverse the roles of the masochist and the sadist, casting a fundamental doubt on the values represented by jim and his two creators, the last clients in the bar.
